I had a bad case of diarrhoea early this morning, which left me breaking out into cold sweat and turning pale. Upon stumbling back to my bedroom, I suddenly felt faint and couldn’t support my body weight, thereafter, crashing into a fan (almost toppling it) and causing my poor mother to jump right out of bed! You can imagine how loud the crash was.. geez. Why do such things happen to me?! Sigh. It all seems hilarious now that I look back, but I certainly hope never to experience something like this again. Well, the good part is I didn’t have to revisit the loo after taking meds so I slept like a baby and only got up at noon.
Got kinda sick da-paoing lunch from downstairs, so I decided to whip something up myself. It was one of those Martha Stewart moments where I felt all domesticated. heh. Lunch was late, but it was worth the effort and wait cos the shepherd’s pie turned out fab! It could do with a little tweaking (increase ratio of potatoes to beef, to 3:1), but nonetheless it was a pretty mean feat considering it was my first attempt. Go me!! Unfortunately I couldn’t take any pics cos the only functioning digicam is in the Netherlands with Joan. There’s definitely going to be a next time, so I promise to post pics then.
Speaking of travelling, my trip to Melbourne this July is confirmed. Flight has been booked and I’m totally psyched cos skiing’s on the itinerary! I’ve alot to look forward to, now all that’s left is to sit for the dreaded exams and get them over with. Bring it on!
