POTO was amazing, beautiful and simply breathtaking! I was completely blown away by the Phantom and although its been a week since the performance, his voice and the many captivating numbers are still stuck in my head. Kudos to the orchestra that played wonderfully to create the perfect ambience and smooth transition between scenes, but most importantly, bringing the Phantom to life.
Andy and I were fortunate enough to get good seats that allowed us a close view of the performers faces and their elaborate costumes, which were captivating to say the least. Needless to say, Andy loved it, so much so that he’s willing to pay to watch it a second time when the Phantom goes to Melbourne. Pity it opens 2 days after we leave, else I think we’d probably be watching it again. heh! (psst.. LBN! something you might want to consider. hee.)
